The Tahoe Rim Trail in California and Nevada is a 165 mile (266 km) circulair trail around Lake Tahoe in the Sierra Nevada and Carson Range. About 50 miles are shared with the Pacific Crest Trail. Horse-riding is allowed on all of the trail. Biking is forbidden in the Wilderness areas.
